Monday Evening Survivor in a Sea of Change Party Test your mettle! Hone your skills of survival when you join a tribe and compete to outwit other tribes (and ultimately fellow teammates!) by using tools of survival and tactical acumen. (Challenges will be primarily cerebral; some may involve very mild physical activity.) Triumph as the final "survivor" to win a gift that's sure to please any bibliophile! For your convenience, our social event will take place at the Radisson Hotel. Use the time after the Survival Camps to freshen up, change into casual clothes and then join us at 6:00 PM for dinner and the survivor party. To complement our tropical evening, a tempting variety of delicious food will be available while you and your tribe plan out your survival strategies. All full conference registrants are invited to join us even if you do not wish to participate in the survivor game. Non-participants are encouraged to watch the games and enjoy the activities. Desserts will be individually prepared by the hotel chef as survivors are "voted off the island." Sunday Evening Tour and Hosted Dinner A tour of the Todd Wehr Library at the Medical College of Wisconsin will be held at 5:00 PM on Sunday evening. At 6:00 PM we'll have hosted dinners. Please indicate on your registration form whether you will be interested in joining the conference committee for either or both events so that we can plan transportation and make reservations. Meet in the hotel lobby at 5:00 for the tour or at 6:00 for dinner. |
